Certificate Programme in Management

The Programme

IIM Indore’s new one-year certificate programme is intended to equip the participants with basic skills and competencies that are required for progression to managerial and supervisory positions in organizations. The programme is offered on an online, interactive platform with classrooms located at various cities in India.

This programme would specifically benefit those, who are currently working or aspire to build a career in the following industries: Retail, Tourism, IT Enabled Services, Real Estate, Retail Banking, Government Services, BPO, Financial Services, Agency Services, Health Care, Insurance, NGO,Travel, Trading, Social Entrepreneurship.

Eligibility

The prospective candidate should be Graduate in any discipline and should have appeared for CAT conducted by IIMs either in 2007 or 2008. There is no requirement of prior work experience. Candidates with two or more years of work experience in the above industries will have an advantage in the selection process.

Programme Design

The programme is of one-year duration. It comprises of about 400 hrs of contact classes. These classes comprise of a combination of online instructions in select cities and on-campus contact. Online classes will be conducted three days a week from 6:30 to 9:30 pm

Application Procedure

Application Form can be downloaded from IIM Indore website from August 08, 2009 onwards. Completed application form should reach the below mentioned address by September 15, 2009. Selected candidates will be informed of their selection by September 30, 2009.

Selection Process

Selection to the programme is based on the performance in CAT, relevant work experience and academic background.

Programme Fee

The total fee is Rs. 3,95,000/- which is payable in four equal quarterly installments. The total amount also includes the tuition fee for the campus visit; however, the participants will have to bear the travel, boarding and lodging expenses during the campus visit.

Important Dates

Application forms could be downloaded free of cost from IIM Indore website, however, an application fee in the form of a demand draft of Rs. 1500/- only, drawn in favour of “Indian Institute of Management Indore”, payable at Indore should accompany the completed application form.
