Schneider Electric India Bags ‘Woman Super Achiever Award’ at The Global HR Excellence Awards 2010

Dr. Shalini Sarin, Director – HR, Schneider Electric India, was awarded the prestigious “Woman Super Achiever Award” for her contribution to HR by the World HRD Congress 2010. The award was organised by the World HRD Congress in Mumbai.

The citation of this special award describes Dr. Sarin as “a thinker and doer who is a role model and a believer in change. The position that she occupies in the fraternity is strategic and iconic. This award is recognition of her commendable work and contribution to HR.”

Dr. Shalini Sarin dedicated the award to the people who she worked with and to her peers who helped her perform better at every step in her career, in her acceptance speech.

Dr. Shalini Sarin joined Schneider Electric India as the Director of Human Resource in 2008. Prior to this she was heading HR at CAIRN India.

Dr. Sarin holds a Doctorate in Organization Behavior, and double masters in Sociology and Human Resource Management. She began her career as a teacher of organizational behavior and then moved on as a retainer & consultant after which she joined Godfrey Phillips.

In a career spanning over 20 years, Shalini has made a significant contribution in Organization Development, Learning & development, Talent Management, Leadership development, Coaching Mentoring etc. As a Management Consultant and an Executive Coach she has contributed substantially in evolving and implementing strategies for Maximizing Organizational and Human Performance.
