Job Description:

The Employee Transformation Practice within Capgemini Consulting is a specialist HR Consultancy which helps clients to solve complex business problems and respond to the strategic challenges of providing a continuing stream of talent, building organisational capacity, and driving systems and processes that create a high performance culture. We work in a collaborative way, producing profound results in developing and implementing people strategies, change programmes and HR function and business transformations. Working as a consultant in our practise provides the opportunity to work on projects covering a wide variety of areas across the HR spectrum in a variety of industries, organisations and sectors.
You will start your career with Capgemini on a 6-12 month secondment to the UK practice (subject to VISA approval), providing you with an excellent learning opportunity and an accelerated career growth path. At the end of the secondment, you will return to India to become an integral part of the newly formed India Consulting operation; Capgemini has refocused the development of its Consulting operations in India as a strategic priority, building upon its market leading technology and outsourcing operations that already exist in the region. Being part of this newly founded team will offer unique challenges and opportunities and enable you to influence its strategic and operational direction supported by global consulting expertise and your own international network developed from your secondment in the UK.
Role: - The Employee Transformation Consultants would be more than just HR Consultants; they are broad-based business consultants who specialise in integrating people issues with business strategy.
Consultant / Senior Consultants Responsibilities: -

  • Working with the client's HR department and related teams to analyse, design and roll-out key HR processes and systems.

  • Deliver people solutions to business problems as part of a major business transformation, or specialised pieces of work such as implementing a new performance management framework.

  • Data gathering, process analysis & improvement, ownership / support of team deliverables, project and stream management.

  • Working with our technology services division to implement a new HR system such as SAP or Oracle; identifying requirements, developing the end-to-end business processes, preparing the business for the change, training, etc.

  • Develop both thought leadership points of view and new service offerings to differentiate us in the marketplace.
    In addition, Managing Consultants are expected to: -

  • Project manage teams of consultants and/or client team members in delivery of solutions to our clients.

  • Develop relationships with both existing clients - and new clients, working to maintain and grow our client portfolio.

  • Lead in the development of thought leadership, turning ideas into new service offerings and taking those to the marketplace.

  • Manage the delivery of propositions, bids and requests for information from clients.

    Candidate Profile:
  • Post graduate degree (e.g., PGDM; MBA) from a premier institute required.

  • Proven experience of working in a HR-related environment gained from a line or consulting role from a major blue-chip organisation or consultancy - Essential.

  • Experience in one of the following essential: HR Business Partnering, Shared Services; HR Operating Model; Talent Management; L&D, Organisation Development; Business Process Re-engineering, HR System Implementation, Performance Management.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with high levels of enthusiasm and a good team player - Essential.

  • Drive and commitment to own and deliver outstanding work - Essential.

  • Experience of running a work-stream or a small project.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.

  • Knowledge of how businesses work financially / commercially.

  • CIPD or equivalent qualification (or currently studying).

  • Excellent communication skills - fluency in both written and spoken English essential.
    In addition, Managing Consultants must have: -

  • Prior experience in a consultancy role - Essential.

  • A proven track record of successful sales - Essential.

  • Experience of people management and management of large workstreams and projects - Essential.
