Purpose of the Role: -

To manage a team of Analysts, Sr. Analysts and/or Managers in the design and execution of their own as well as their team's business projects / processes.

Perform the review / ranking process for individuals on their team. Coordinate work with there immediate manager and their peers, and establish a communication model with their peers within Unit as well as in the business.

Competently represent Unit in business meetings. Make decisions about the direction of their groups. Groom their teams to enable them to perform at a high standard.
Main Day-to-Day Activities: -

Execute multiple project requests and execute ongoing business processes.

Evaluate new and existing processes to make or modify for maximum efficiency.

Ensure creation / maintenance of all related project documentation. Work with business partners in defining project requirements and create project specifications for their team.
Goals & Objectives: -

Ensure the team provides timely and accurate execution / delivery of multiple business requests and ongoing business processes.

Support and assist managers and analysts by sharing expertise across all of unit.

Using their business / technical knowledge, work with business partners clarifying and defining business process / project requests adding value to the process / project supporting the group.

Continually look for ways to increase efficiencies and apply learning at the customer level.
Key Relationships: -

Immediate manager directs and their teams, and business partners at the business up to and including senior director levels.

Business experience in retail banking, consumer lending or credit cards.

Portfolio Management, Predictive Modeling, Financial Modeling & Forecasting, SAS, SQL, UNIX, MS Office.
Non-technical Knowledge, Experience & Skills: -

Strong strategic thinking ability.

Ability to plan and think ahead in anticipation of environmental shifts.

Flexible attitude and openness to new ideas.

Ability to command respect across the organization based on professionalism and expertise.

Extensive business knowledge of immediate business partner and a good understanding of all the businesses.

Educational Requirements: - Post Graduate. MBA would be an added advantage.
Language Requirements: - Clear communication skills in English with regard to speaking, reading and writing.
