Day-to-day management of issues related to the e-procurement platform - BuySmart
      - Creation and maintenance of user-ids
      - Basic understanding of the various functionalities and features of the system and assist in exploring new functionalities
      - Catalogue management
      - Query resolution

Generate MIS from the system for the department

Assist in activities procurement activities for various non-IT services
      - Source service providers for various identified services
      - Assist in vendor empanelment process
      - Assist in initial negotiations and float RFP
      - Assist in documentation of various service contracts
      - Handle service-related issues raised by internal customers
Major Challenges: -

Thorough understanding of the overall procurement cycle.

Ability to grasp functionality and nuances of e-procurement system.

Exhibit pro-activeness and willingness to learn and customer orientation.
Context of the Job: - Initial training and assistance to be provided to understand the system and get on board. Once competency is proven, need to independently handle the day-to-day issues related to e-procurement system. Assist in the procurement activities under the guidance of the Line Manager.

Candidates handling non-IT purchase, procurement and working on softwares like PeopleSoft / BuySmart and preferably from a financial domain.

At least a Graduate (any stream), preferably first class. MBA would be added advantage.

2-4 years experience in procurement function.

Exposure and understanding of any integrated procurement tool or e-procurement tool.

Sound knowledge of purchasing activities and good negotiation skills.
