Answer Procurement related sales requests

Over the long term, the resource will focus on building commodity packs. This will involve: -

Performing desktop research on the commodities

Detailing suppliers

Building a library for 60-100 commodity areas.

These tasks require a resource with procurement and strong research skills, fluency in English (oral and written) and strong communication skills.
The candidate must be flexible, independent, be able to juggle projects and urgent / unplanned requests, and deal with ambiguity.
The Procurement Analyst must be comfortable using Capgemini’s technical tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Lotus Notes.

3 years Consulting Experience, preferably in Sourcing & Procurement

2-4 years procurement experience in one or more industries

Supply Chain or Operations Management education preferred.
Competencies: -

Fluent English Communication Skills (Oral, Written & Presentation)

Independent - must plan and decide on their own work, develop own plan to meet Executive goals

International work or education experience is preferred

Strong Supply Chain skills and understanding of Procurement terminologies (Purchase to Pay, Supplier Relationship Management)

Excellent research skills

Ability to quickly digest and compare / contrast large amounts of written material

Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, and Web applications (Internet Explorer), statistical tools

Strong teamwork skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to details

Excellent networking and relationship-building skills

Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously balancing project work with high-priority requests

Ability to accept ambiguity
