Analyzing client issues and business challenges across the following areas: order management, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation operations and global trade management.

Conducting interviews, research and analysis to bring innovative solutions to clients.

Selecting and/or developing analytical tools and techniques (e.g., optimization and simulation models, data mining, cost benefit analyses, etc.)

Assessing client warehousing and distribution operations.

Managing distribution facility design and implementation.

Selecting, integrating, starting-up, and managing of third-party service providers providing distribution operations capabilities.

Developing and implementing of labor management processes, information systems, training capabilities, performance measurement and motivation systems.

Creating budgets, business cases and key business performance indicators for operations management, planning and capital expenditure justifications.

Understand and communicate leading practices in network design, product flow path and inventory.

Lead network modeling scenario creation workshops / visioning sessions.

Configure network, flow path and/or inventory models.

Create and execute optimization scenarios.

Perform pre/post optimization analytics to emphasize the quantitative and qualitative impacts.

Assess current facility, process and systems capabilities and recommend requirements for future network.

Build transition road-map and financial impacts (operating savings, investment requirements).

Compiling business requirements, and evaluating new software packages to suit clients needs.

Developing As-Is and To-Be process flows, facilitating client design sessions, communicating best practices.

Participating / leading all aspects of software implementation.

1-6 years of related experience is required.

MBA / Master's Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Skills & Knowledge: -

Exposures to following tools: Order Management (SAP, Oracle, Yantra), Warehouse Management (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie), Transportation Management (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, i2, Manugistics), GTM. Familiarity with network optimization software (Logic Tools, CAST, AspenTech or others). Familiarity with PCMILER and mapping software such as Maplogix or MAPINFO.

Business operations knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Order Management, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and/or Global Trade and Logistics. Knowledge of distribution and warehousing business processes.

Experience with one or more of the following: WMS implementation, MHE selection and implementation, 3PL selection, Labor Management experience, previous business process and re-design and systems implementation experience, preferably in a consulting environment with a large firm.

Experience with one or more of the following software packages: Order Management (SAP, Oracle, Yantra), Warehouse Management (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie), Transportation Management (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, i2, Manugistics), GTM. Solid proficiency in Excel and Access for data analysis. SAS or SPSS experience is a plus.

Traveling would be also be required.
