Decide on important milestones for Transition.

Decide on acceptance criteria for various deliverables - Demand Quality in all deliverables.
Team Size: - Between 15-25 people depending upon the project requirement.

Increased number of projects delivered in accordance with defined methodology.

Learnings are captured and gets translated in to process improvement.

All major risks are identified in the planning phase and there is a reduction in unidentified risks during project execution.

Timely distribution of project performance reports.

Change management process is followed for all major changes, and there is an overall reduction in unauthorized changes.

Project milestone and budgets are reviewed on a regular basis during project execution. Projects should not have more than 10% variance in schedule and cost - customer satisfaction surveys carried out for all projects and achieve level 4 (on the scale of 1-5).

Total 6-8 years years of experience. Should have minimum 3 years of experience in managing projects.

Should be familiar with Project Management processes.

Should have expertise in using various Project Management tools and techniques.

PMP certified will be preferred.

Should be aware about various processes used for Transition Management - Should have at least handled two successful transition.

Should have an understanding on Sustenance Management processes (ITIL, BS15000). Should be in a position to manage Transition in any of the following areas: application development and maintenance, infrastructure maintenance, service desk, data center management.

Should have knowledge on IT Governance and its implementation personal competency required.

Takes accountability for and delivers project.

Strives for best practice (enhances own knowledge and application of Project Management tools and techniques).

Ensures information used to Manage Project is complete and accurate (take inputs from multiple teams, review documentation on past projects, takes advice from subject matter experts).
