5. After Joining MBA

Q. Were you able to get the school of your choice or did you compromise and opt for the best option that was open/available for you?
A. Yes, I was able to get B-school of my choice.

Q. Did work experience help in getting the choice of your school and also in dealing with the curriculum?
A. I believe, Yes. Work experience did help a lot.

Q. After joining the school, did you ever wish that you should have known certain more things about the school before you became part of it? What are these?
A. Before joining my B-school, I visited the campus, so there was nothing I wanted to ascertain.

Q. What are the toughest area to handle in your studies?
A. I think as per now its Finance subjects that I am finding a bit tough to handle, as they are pretty new for me, being an Engineer.

Q. Which one is your best subject?
A. Still to explore, before I comment on this.

Q. Is there stress level during studies?
A. Yes, stress is there, infact a lot. Pre-reading and new subjects makes it all the more difficult. Plus, group study is something new which also takes a lot of time and brain-storming.

Q. Who is the best faculty at your B-school?
A. Well, that's quite a relative question, Let me put it this way, "We have one of the best faculty for finance on board."

Q. What's the best and most admirable feature of your institute?
A. Its location and our Director. I feel I am really lucky that I got what I always had an idea about academic life.

Q. Scope of development in your existing curriculum.
A. I believe the course is pretty well-designed and almost everything is covered. Plus, we will get a lot of freedom in terms of Electives List that we have for our next year.

Q. Getting into and sailing through a B-school is easier for a Science graduate than for someone from Humanities background. Your comments, please.
A. I don't think so. It depends mostly on how articulate you are. At how you respond to surprise questions. Communication skills and profile matters a lot, rather than academic streams.

Q. Tips for those who wish to do MBA from your school.
A. My B-school offers one of the best learning experiences, and it is on the path to become one of the most tech-savvy campus of India. As part of preparation, be thorough with current affairs and your work experience related stuff.

Concluded.
