Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi managed to complete its placement process for the batch of 2009 in the backdrop of ongoing economic crisis. Although the process stretched much longer in duration as compared to the preceding years (around 30 days), FMS students were finally able to graduate from institute with a job in hand.
With 89 students in the MBA course and 42 students in MBA-MS to place, FMS ended the process with a domestic average of INR 11.47 lakhs per annum for MBA and INR 11.15 lakhs per annum for MBA-MS. Although the average saw a significant drop (around 20% for both batches combined) as compared to the previous year, it was very respectable considering the current economic situation.

The highest domestic package was INR 19 lakhs per annum for a student from the MBA course.
