Objectives: To provide inputs to the participants to enable them to identify high impact ICT applications in the government and implement these applications successfully.

For: Senior officers of government sector likely to be engaged in e-government projects and senior professionals from IT industry with interest in developing e-government solutions.

Contents:

• Exposure to emerging information and communication technologies, such as Local area and wide area networking, mobile computing and wireless technologies, internet, intranet, and web technologies, geographic information systems, decision support systems.

• Frameworks for identifying IT applications, which can create a high socio-economic impact by enabling, better planning, monitoring, and coordination of government programmes.

• Guidelines for successful implementation of ICT projects and management of change.

• Case studies of high impact e-Governance applications.
