Objectives: The recent economic reforms and their continuation has underlined the need for Indian organizations to enhance their competitive position. It is now widely recognized that organizational competitiveness may be enhanced or developed based on an effective manufacturing strategy and its implementation. In the Indian context, this may be a route by which the global presence of Indian companies may be enhanced and their domestic defence capability be improved. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a basic understanding of strategic importance of manufacturing and how to enhance the manufacturing competitiveness of an organization.

For: Top managers in the manufacturing function like presidents, vice presidents, general managers, and board level executives, strategical business unit heads in charge of manufacturing, and owner managers of medium size organizations.
