The Institute

The Institute of Management is a constituent institution of Nirma University of Science & Technology, which is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section-2 (f) of the UGC Act. The Institute has been ranked among the top B-schools in the country by the leading B-school surveys.

The Programme

The Two-Year Full-Time Residential MBA Programme offers dual specialization in Finance, Marketing, OB & HR, IT, International Business and Operations Management. The programme follows a trimester system. The first year consists of compulsory foundation courses. The second year consists of a few compulsory courses and several elective courses. The summer project is scheduled at the end of the first year. The programme offers major and minor specializations in the second year. The important themes running across courses are: Internationalism, Ethics & Information Technology.

The Programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The MBA degree of the University is recognized as equivalent to MBA degree of any other Indian University.

Number of Seats Available: 120
15% of the intake is likely to be allocated for admissions to Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Foreign Nationals & Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). Of this, about 1/3rd, i.e., 5% is reserverd for Children of Indian Workers of Gulf Countries & South East Asia.

Eligibility

A three-year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or its equivalent in any discipline from a statutory university with atleast 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing in the final examination of a bachelor’s degree can also apply.

Application Form

Prospective candidates are required to fill in the IM Application Form. To obtain the Application Form and Prospectus, applicants should send a request along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 1,500/- favouring Institute of Management, Nirma University payable at Ahmedabad, addressed to the contact details given at the end.

Application Forms can also be directly obtained from the Institute and from different centres of IMS Learning Resources or from various branches of Aixs Bank from October 13, 2008.

The candidates can also download Application From the website and send the filled-in application form along with a DD for Rs. 1500/-.
