The acceptance of XIMB application registered online will be subject to receipt of the application fee and the completed payment advice form by XIMB. Upon receipt of the payment, the eligible applicants will be intimated by e-mail about the status of their applications. The Admit Cards for appearing the test will be mailed to them by the last week of December.

Selection Process

Stage 1: All applicants have to appear for the XIMB Research Aptitude Test, usually conducted in early January. The test is conducted at the following centres: Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi. Some centres may be dropped due to inadequate number of applicants.

Stage 2: Based on their performance in the above test as well as their academic and professional achievements, a small number of candidates will be invited for a seminar and personal interview at Bhubaneswar. All the invited candidates will be offered local hospitality in the XIMB campus. They will be reimbursed AC (2-tier) railway fare through the shortest route, on production of the railway tickets.
