Normally, Admission offers to selected applicants are sent in the first week of May and the First Year Academic session usually commences around 2nd week of June every year.

Facilities

Library Facilities
To provide the students an easier and regular access to required text books on the courses taught, relevant references and, other publications on management and development, a well-stocked Library with reading and lending facilities is available in the city annexe of the Institute. The students also have access to the resources in the main Library of the Institute located on its Joka campus.

Computer Facilities
A small computer laboratory with facilities for internet access and other softwares is located in the city-center premises to provide the PGDBM students with specific course-related practices as also for documentation and analytical supports linked with assignments/ project works. In addition, the students have access to the much larger computer facilities available in the Institute's campus through prior requisitions.

Award Of Diploma
A student becomes eligible for the AWARD of the POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS MANAGESMENT of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta on the successful completion of the PGDBM Programme. The Diploma is normally awarded during the Annual Convocation of the Institute held in March every year.
