JIGYASA 2006: A National Level Paper Presentation Contest at Dept. of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee

With the stage set for you to build on further, Jigyasa-2006 extends you an opportunity to contribute towards the development of Rural India and make this "Swades" a globally recognized entity.

Participants

The participants comprise of postgraduates from leading management institutes across the country. The strategy is to come up with simple but innovative ideas and that's where the element of creativity and out-of-box thinking would be highlighted.

Rules & Regulations

  • Students from any stream are eligible for participation.

  • One entry will encompass not more than two persons. No entrant can be part of more than one team.

  • There is no limitation on the number of teams from an institute at any stage of the competition.

  • All entries should be original.

  • The participants are required to submit the full text in the form of soft as well hard copy (3 sets) to the address mentioned below by April 5th.

  • Participants selected after preliminary screening shall be required to defend their papers personally before the panel of judges during the presentation that shall be held on April 16, 2006.

  • The decision of the panel will be final.

    Format for Executive Summary & Final Paper

  • Typing: Spacing 1.5, single sided on A4 sized paper.

  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12.

  • Margins: 1.4" (left) and 1" (right).

  • Limit: 450 words for Executive summary.

  • Limit: 4500 words, 30 Pages including graphics.

  • The executive summary and the final paper should not reveal the identity of the participant and institute with the exception of the covering letter which is to be attached separately.
