Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management Presents 'SITM Telecom GrandMasters Quiz 2006' in Association with IDEA Cellular

To take forward its endeavor of associating with challenging and mentally stimulating events, Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM), in association with IDEA Cellular, is presenting for the sixth year in a row, the SITM Telecom GrandMasters Quiz (TGM), being organized on August 25th, 2006, at the Symbiosis Vishwabhavan Auditorium, Pune.

TGM, a one of its kind contest in the country, sees students and corporates pit their knowledge and skills against each other for the coveted title of Telecom GrandMasters. Five teams will make it to the final rounds comprising three student teams and two corporate teams. The winners will walk away with prizes worth Rs. 2 lakhs. This year the scope of participation has been further broadened with the online tests being conducted at over 30 cities in various Hughes Net Fusion Centres across the country.

Last year TGM saw finalists from VIT, Pune (Winners), ICFAI Hyderabad, SIMS Pune and Corporate teams from Avaya and Computer Associates. The event was glorified by the esteemed presence of former Miss India Diana Hayden and actor Abhay Deol.

The preliminary rounds will be conducted on August 18th and August 19th across 32 cities in India. The service center incharge will assist them in registering and obtaining password to appear for the eliminations. In Pune, the test would be held at SITM Campus on August 20th. The major cities where online rounds will be conducted include New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneshwar, Indore, Bhopal, etc., at 11:00 am, 12:15 pm, 3:30 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:45 pm, depending on the capacity of the service center.
