Great Lakes Institute Announces First International Research Seminar in Association with Yale University
Theme: "Global Mindset, Indian Roots"
On December 24, 2006 at Hotel Quality Inn, Chennai.

Yale Great Lakes center for management research aims to promote, facilitate and advance India-centric management related research which contributes to the development of basic and applied knowledge in the field of management. The center will be a bridge that links scholars around the globe with India as a common interest.

Introduction

Papers are invited on the theme "Global Mindset, Indian Roots" from Academia and Industry. The concept of the paper can be from any domain of Management (Finance, HR, and Marketing, etc.) but should be related with the theme.

The conference will include the following:

  • Lectures by Invited key note speakers

  • Paper presentation sessions

  • The key note speakers are invited by the research center and the speakers are drawn from various international business schools. The names of few invited speakers are given below. Apart from those invited speakers, the research center invites papers from paper presenters from the academia and industry. The following are the guidelines for the paper submission:

    Submission Guidelines

  • Contributions should represent original research work which has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere

  • World limit for paper is 5000 words

  • Papers to be submitted electronically to yalecon@glakes.org

  • Selected participants would be reimbursed AC train fare. Accommodation will be provided to the paper presenters.

  • Paper presenters would get 12 minutes time for their presentation. The presentation would be followed by a Q&A session.

    There are no specific sub themes in the conference. All that we request you is to relate your paper to the theme mentioned.
