The eternal quest for glory in the war of business supremacy begins here! The battle-field waits even as the scene is set for the brightest of minds and the sharpest of intellects to clash. The trumpet calls for the valorous knights adorned with armour-de-acumen. All

that remains is to unleash your sword and raise the battle-cry, while the world witnesses the emerging titans. Indeed, it is the "Call for Arms" - Rise, Raise thy sword!

The siege begins on 11 January 2008 at Castle d' IIM Lucknow - on the occasion of Manfest - The Celebration of Champions of the Indian Corporate Empire. From the far-flung institutes of business and management, the best warriors are being sought to form contingents that would bring glory to their college.

'Call for Arms - The Battle of B-schools', being held in association with Cognizant Technology Solutions, promises a series of stimulating management competitions where the best teams from the top B-schools in India will compete to settle once and for all as to who is the best. The partner Cognizant Technology Solutions is an information technology services company which has been named in Fortune 100 fastest growing companies for the past five consecutive years. With a strong performance record, Cognizant has a legacy of service and innovation that gives clients experience that they can count on around the world in any market.

The event would be held in two phases. The first phase would be held online and subsequent phase would be held during Manfest (11-13 January 2008). The conquering team would be acknowledged "Call For Arms: The B-school of the Year" and awarded a bounty of Rs. 1,50,000. Says Himanshu Aggarwal, Manfest Committee member, "The importance of team work can not be stressed enough in the corporate world. Thus, we came up with an event which simulates the corporate world environment, only the team with the greatest potential and synergies will triumph."

The other events to watch out for during Manfest 2008 are workshops on Marketing and I-banking by eminent professionals in the field, talks and debates by the leaders that you idolize at 'Leader's Express', 'Treatise': The International Thought Challenge, and 'NextCEO': The Search for the Leader in the Making. Besides events in every functional area, the festival boasts of informal games, performances by well known bands along with a high profile rock competition promising everyone a good time.
