  • These kinds of training programmes are very useful from the social perspective.

  • Experience sharing by the participants was a critical component and very well-utilized.

  • Good to see participants not only from India but also from Bangladesh and Nepal - an indication of trans-national collaboration for disaster management.

  • Field visits, a critical component as they give practical understanding.

  • Good to see students of Rural Management studying Disaster Management in their course curriculum.

  • A good idea, by XIM-B to introduce a new course in Disaster Management like a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management (PGDDM).
