Diversity in Student profile

The opening up of the PGP-ABM to graduates from all disciplines from this year onwards has resulted in greater student diversity. Engineers comprise 12.5% of the current batch with the rest comprising of Agriculture graduates, Agricultural Engineers, B.Pharm. graduates, Dairy technologists, B.FSc. (Fisheries) and Veterinary graduates. 17 out of the 32 students in the batch have prior work experience ranging from 6 months to 99 months.

Rise in Stipends

The stipend offered to students touched new levels. The average stipend increased by a whooping 33% to Rs. 14,500 per month from Rs 10,900 per month last year.

The success of the summer recruitment process has once again underscored the reputation of the PGP ABM programme as the best of its kind. With the agri-business boom expected to continue, the placement committee is looking forward to the final recruitment season in March, when the final year Agri business management students will be exercising their career options.
