Ashish has done B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering (2003) from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, with 68.61%. At present, he is studying at SIOM Nasik.
Professional Experience
Ashish worked in the Industrial Division (GBU) of Asian Paints (I) Limited as Territory Sales Incharge for a period of 12 months. He was responsible for the sales in Rajasthan Territory. He not only exceeded the sales target given for the financial year 2003-04 but also grabbed some of the critical business accounts for the company and successfully executed the new product launch in his territory.
Achievements & Awards
Took initiative to form SME (Small & Medium Enterprise) Cell, which is known as SIOM-SEED and working as an active member of the cell at SIOM, worked in Sponsorship Committee for the National Seminar Tattv' 06 at SIOM. He also organized "Convergè - A Confluence of Knowledge & Experience", at SIOM, Nashik.
Won 1st Prize in 'NIMBASH-2006' for Treasure Hunt at Navjeevan Institute of Management.
Won 3rd Prize in 'ANTEDOTE-Marketing Game' at TAPMI.
Organized Technical Quiz in National Symposium ARENA 2003. Won 3rd Prize for Technical Hunt in National Symposium ARENA 2003.
Won 3rd prize for Shoot the Hoop in SPLASH 2002 (Dept. Fest) at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
Projects Undertaken
Currently working on a project at Schneider Electric (Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Project), "To Reduce Product Return Rate (PRR) from 4000 ppm to 500 ppm for LV Panel".
Done his Summer Project in ESSAR Ltd., Mumbai, and developed an "Excel Financial Model" for feasibility study of the upcoming projects at ESSAR Chemicals Ltd. Prepared model was used in finding feasibility study for their further projects.
A study project on "Inventory & Warehouse Management" at Glaxo SmithKline, Nashik during Semester I.
In B.Tech. (Chemical), he has done a study on "Sea Water Desalination Using Reverse Osmosis Membrane".
At Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd., Mumbai, he has done in-plant training in Phosphoric Acid Plant and in Nitrophosphate (Suphala) Plant.
