Academic Background

Rachana has completed her B.Tech. in CSE from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida in 2005 with 7.45 CGPA. At present she is doing MBA from DOMS IIT Madras and intend to to HR/Marketing as area of specialization.

Projects Undertaken

Rachana worked on a systems thinking project titled "GARBAGE DISPOSAL IN URBAN INDIA" with inputs from an NGO called EXNORA in chennai. She designed and developed an application for "Automation of Biodata Submission" in Oracle Forms 6i with Oracle 9i as backend at HCL COMNET Ltd., Noida. She also researched, analyzed and developed Data Consistency Algorithms and Methods for Multi-user 3D environments as Final Year B.Tech Project.

She is the Core Representative of the CSE Department in the Literary Club of JIIT Youth Club (JYC) during the second academic year, B.Tech. Worked as a Volunteer for 5 months at UDAYAN CARE (an NGO)and Core Member of the Placement Cell of JIIT in Final Year, B.Tech.She is also the Captain of the Trophy Winning Throwball team during DoMS Sports Festival 2006and first runners-up in inter-department Rangoli (cultural event) and Kho-Kho (sports event) competiton during second yr engineering.
