Academic Background

Vishal has done B.com (Hons) from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta University in 2004.At present he is Pursuing MBA (GLOBAL) 2007 from IMT Nagpur. He cleared AMFI (Advisory module) of National Stock Exchanges Certification In Financial Markets(NCFM). His areas of interest includes Sales & Distribution, Branding, promo ion & Advertising.

Projects Undertaken

Vishal has done his summer training at PEPSI (Nepal). His project was - To Study and Analyse the efficiency of distribution system of Pepsi in Kathmandu City along with feedback analysis of distributors, retailers and consumer at individual level. After analysis he proposed strategies & creative ideas to improve the efficiency of distribution system as well as brand image of Pepsi in Nepal.

Professional Experience

Vishal worked as Sales Executive (Sept'02-Nov'02) in Cadbury India Ltd. He also worked as Marketing Executive (June'04-May'05) in Lion India Ltd, (An Associate Company of Vic Faulkner & Associates, U.K & Italy).His job responsibility included meeting the various clients and market the various products of Lion India in and around Kolkata.

Achievements and Awards

Vishal secured 1st Position in several quiz contests like Annual Loreto shield, ENCON, NTPC Welfare, Annual Coca Cola quiz etc.,and received a fellowship by Govt. Of India for securing an All India Rank in class-X board exams.His 'Business Plan' short listed in major events (NIM, NSIT Delhi). He also received 'Poorva Memorial Trophy' for being the best student in Delhi public school.

Vishal is the secretary of Marketing Forum of IMT - NAGPUR. He organizes marketing events at the national event ( Zeitgeist ).He is a member of media centre of IMT - Nagpur and Quiz Forum of IMT - Nagpur.He also organizes the quiz shows and interviews the guest lecturers.
