Canadian schools had also made much recent progress; however, in 2006, they have, without exception, lost relative position. The Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto is the only Canadian school to remain in the top-20, falling five places to 19th.
McGill University, which had steadily grown in recognition during the last five years is the most striking casualty, falling by a massive 23 places to 36th position. Research also reveals that its students average GMAT Score has plummeted over 150 points in the last two years. The Richard Ivey School of Business University of Western Ontario, falls in favour with surveyed recruiters by four places out of the top-20 to 21st place; Queen's School of Business falls from 22nd to 37th position; Schulich School of Business York University from 25th to 38th place and the Sauder School, a recent success, has moved back out of the top-40, having been at 22nd place only two years ago, as does HEC Montreal, having been 24th just two years ago.

Notable North American Movers: The four North American top movers are the Olin School of Business, Washington University in St Louis, up 11 to 27th; Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, up 10 to 25th; George Washington University School of Business up 9 to 24th (up 14 places since 2004); and the McCombs School of Business University of Texas at Austin, up 11 to 17th over the last two years. Several of these show increasing percentages of international students. Apart from the Canadian schools, the Kenan-Flagler Business School University of North Carolina continues its downward path, losing 14 places to 39th in two years. Yale School of Management also shows a downward trend from 10th place two years ago to 14th, as does the Anderson School of Management UCLA which falls a further one to 22nd, having been at 12th two years ago.

Please refer to the table on Page 13 for the full list of the 40 schools in the USA and Canada most favoured by recruiters.
