Indian Banking Sector Reform: Indian Banks are coming out of age-old ethos and embracing reforms, which is reflected from their profitability, productivity and efficient NPA management. But as already mentioned, for a well-developed financial system, it is only one of the two legs, the other being corporate bond market and they are complimentary to each other.

Strong growth of Indian Equity market in the last few years, which do have a positive relationship with the growth in High-yield bond market.
