The paper revolves around the Theory of Constraints in improving Urban Infrastructure. The paper envisages the practical framework of "Theory of Constraints in Road Transportation of Bangalore".

The relation between road transport and improving quality of urban life is paradoxical in nature. On one side, transportation activities support increasing mobility demands for passengers and freight, whereas on the other, transport activities result in growing levels of private vehicles, traffic congestion, no parking space, increase in accidents, increase in commuting time, etc.

The paper incorporates the decision tools of theory of constraint. It also reflects -

1. Current Reality of Bangalore Road Transport
2. Conflicts in Road Transport
3. Future Reality of Bangalore Road Transport

It also prescribes injections that should be incorporated in short term and long term. It also gives the framework of transcription of Red Ocean of Bangalore Road Transport to Blue Ocean.
