Fuelling Rural Growth

A separate portal for different variety of farm produce, poultry, and agro-based products can be developed to cater to the needs of every farmer. This will enable the farmer to know about the prevailing global market condition for a particular crop. Since it is a specialized portal for a particular group, the various techniques adopted by farmers in other countries can also be disseminated for greater benefits. The farmer can earn the best price for his product through the portal.

The portal can consist five sections on: -

1. Agro-based products & animal husbandry
2. Crafts and other allied products
3. Small scale industries
4. Self help groups
5. Farmer's corner

In this portal, the farmer can get details about the respective crop and new technology, which has been developed. For this, a nominal membership fee can be levied. But this can be possible only if we have good network and initiative.

India is a country, which is known for its traditional arts and crafts. These arts and crafts represent or reflect valuable features in a miniature. Moreover, Indian arts and crafts are highly patronized by all the foreign countries. These arts and crafts are mainly sustained by the small artisans in rural areas.
