Reinventing Through Technology

Rural Indians are known for their valuable arts and crafts work. But there is no auctioneer's market existing in India. Hence, the craftsmen are not able to position their products in an appropriate way to the global market. The international market is displaying a great penchant for their products.
To reach out markets world wide, E-commerce can act as an Internet brochure. Thus, the art and crafts skills, which are in short supply in developed countries, can be matched with those of the developing countries, which are in abundance. This will help in the development of rural areas.

Conclusion

Thus, E-commerce will surely fuel the growth of Rural Economy. E-commerce by improving the purchasing power of the people will help eradicate the poverty and illiteracy in India. Information and communication technologies will bring information at the doorstep of the rural people. They will realize that even though they have enough information available, they are unable to utilize it because of their illiteracy. This will make them surely realize the need for education. Thus the E-commerce if implemented properly bound to fuel the growth of the rural economy, slowly but surely.

Concluded.
