Placements at ISB Turn Truly Global with Leading Niche International Firms Visiting Campus

The Indian School of Business (ISB) announced the final results of Placements for the Class of 2008. Placements at the ISB this year have surpassed all previous years' records.

Placements at the ISB Truly Global: 100% Increase in International Recruiters

Placements 2008 have been truly global at the ISB with several leading and niche international companies visiting the campus. The number of international companies visiting the ISB has doubled this year establishing the fact that the ISB has indeed become a talent pool for the world. 41 new international companies visited the ISB campus for the first time. The 111 international offers are spread across 23 cities across USA, Europe, Middle East, and the Asia Pacific. The offers encompass a wide range of functions and industries such as consulting, manufacturing, real estate, IT, and others.

Unprecedented Career Shifts at the ISB

The ISB has 100% lateral placements as all its students come with prior work experience. This year a total of 81% students made remarkable career shifts as well. This is the highest percentage of career shifts at the ISB so far. Of the 81% career shifts, 50% were shifts both in function and industry, 21% were career shifts in function and the remaining 10% were shifts in industry.
