Objectives: This successful programme, the 6th in the series, provides Board-level perspectives on the principles and best practices in governing corporations both in the private and public sector.

For: It is addressed to Chairmen, MDs & CEOs, Whole Time Directors, Independent Directors and Non-Executive Directors already on Corporate Boards or are about to join them. It would also be useful to very senior executives of large corporations with close working interface with their Boards and those who serve on subsidiary company Boards.

Content: The programme would address the theoretical basis of modern corporate governance and deal with board role, responsibilities and accountability, ownership and control implications, internal control and risk management, conflict resolution, financial communications, and corporate social responsibility and citizenship implications.
