Objectives: The World Trade Organization (WTO), which came into existence in 1995, has brought in a new trade regime based on a rule based trading system. The WTO Agreements have numerous implications for the trade and industry in a developing country like India.
The program is designed to help participants understand the implications of various WTO Agreements for industry and service sectors of India. An effective manager needs to be aware of opportunities, threats and challenges emerging in the world trading system and he /she should maximize the benefits arising out of it.
