28th Management Education Programme Programme Design: MEP is an intensive 16-week programme. Participants learn to develop strategic business plans to move forward and manage discontinuities in a fast changing scenario for given business situations. They analyze micro and macro environments and the strategic position of the organization. A study of the strengths and weaknesses and the processes of the organization are carried out to get a complete picture of the challenges faced. The programme emphasizes not only on formulating a strategy but also on evolving a plan for implementation. The programme deals with all disciplines of management such as: accounting, decision analysis, operations management, organization behaviour, marketing, finance, and business policy. Special topics such as management of innovation, corporate restructuring, BPR, and role of financial markets will also be covered. A significant part of the pedagogy material brings the best practices in international setting. Programme Information:
Sponsorship: Organizational sponsorship is essential for attending MEP. The complete application form should be filled in by a senior executive of the company. Organizations are requested to choose the candidates carefully to ensure that they meet the programme requirements. Fee: Rs. 2,25,000 includes reading materials, computer time, and room and board expenses (for members of the IIMA Society, the fee is Rs. 2,15,000). Fee for participants from outside India is US$ 6,000 or equivalent. Please send the fee by demand draft in favour of "Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad." No refund of fee is allowed unless the Institute receives the intimation of withdrawal at least 15 days before the programme commences. Scholarship: The Tatachem Golden Jubilee Foundation has instituted a fellowship for partial financial support towards fee to a selected candidate from a voluntary organization. Organizations seeking financial support will have to indicate this through a separate letter addressed to the Programme Coordinator, to be enclosed with the nomination form. Accommodation: Participants will be accommodated at KLMDC on the basis of two participants sharing a double room. Alumni Association: Participants will become members of the IIMA Alumni Association on completion of the programme.
