Prior to setting up Cerebrus, Ms. Ramachandran has had a long stint of 19 years in the Management Consultancy Division of AF Ferguson & Co., formerly the KPMG associate in India. At Cerebrus, she is now involved in a variety of assignments in organisation restructuring, HR policies and change management.
She is an authority on compensation and benefits and is quoted by leading magazines and academic journals.

About the Session: 'Getting Good People to Stay: An Insight into Long Term Incentive Plans as a Strategy for Retention’

For growing and developing people, it is imperative that they continue to stay with the organization, the possibility of which is increasingly diminishing considering the changing realities of business. Even the most sophisticated performance management system can, at best, identify talent that will usher the business forward. The question still remains: Will they stay long enough to do so? A possible answer to this may lie in Long Term Incentive plans, which, if planned and executed well could transcend the line between being an element of compensation to being a strategy for retention.
