Mr. Prashant Khankhoje, Head - Projects & Corporate Affairs, Suzlon Energy Ltd., mentioned the need of a shift towards clean and efficient alternative fuel, typically - wind. "We have not inherited this earth from our ancestors, we have merely borrowed it for our children," he said.

Students enjoyed interacting with Mr. Rajnikant Patel quizzing him on the unpredictable trends in the Indian stock market. "Never try to time the market," is what he had to say!

Tattv '08 had a special feature this year in the form of moderators, who conducted the sessions with their prowess and concluded each session with brain-storming and Q&A rounds. Through their vast experience in their respective fields, they provided valuable inputs in terms of suggestions, facts and advice to the younger generation. They laid emphasis on the strength of the Indian youth, the skewed distribution of income, and its effect on costs of products and services. Further, they were of the opinion that we need to focus on the poor as an asset, India as a global country and an ethical country. The moderators were from highly-renowned national newspapers and magazines, viz., Mr. G. Chandrashekhar, Associate Editor, The Hindu Business Line, Mr. A. Thothathri Raman, Consulting Editor, Business India, and Mr. Tamal Bandyopadhyay, Mumbai Bureau Chief, Mint.

Mr. Shrirang Sarda, Managing Partner of Shrirang Kisanlal Sarda and promoter of City Center Mall, Nashik; a leading entrepreneur from Nashik, was the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function. Looking at the current world scenario, with the recession in the US having a domino effect on business and economies around the world, Strategic Foresight is the need of the hour and Tattv '08 provided a splendid opportunity for eminent business personalities to get their message across to managers in the making. It ended on an enthusiastic note with the students and faculty members already gearing up for Tattv '09.
