  1. General Questions
  2. Questions related to Pre-MBA Preparation
  3. Questions related to Group Discussion / Group Exercise
  4. Interview-related Questions
  5. After Joining MBA

Q. Was Group Discussion or Group Exercise part of selection process?
A. Yes.

Q. The duration of GD, size of the group, number of panelists, etc.
A. The GD, in a group of 8 members, lasted for 15 minutes, and was moderated over by 3 panelists.

Q. What was your GD topic?
A. The topic related to the 2008 recession, and the measures that industry could possibly take up for revival.

Q. Tell us about your GD experience?
A. The GD process was very well managed, and the entire experience was excellent.

Q. How was the environment during discussion?
A. Competitive

Q. Describe your impression of the team members and overall GD process?
A. There were a few members who got aggressive during the discussion, and the panelists had to intervene to caution them. From personal experience, if you're making sensible points, the group listens to you, and there's absolutely no need to get aggressive to get oneself heard.

Q. Some handy tips that would be of great help.
A. Content matters. Once the members realize that you're talking great sense, it's easier to get yourself heard without much effort and sail through smoothly. So be well read. Besides, participate constructively and listen to others. Don't be obsessive about your own points and let the group cover as many aspects as possible.

Q. Were there any set norms of Group Discussion?
A. Yes; the norms were stated before the GD commenced.
