What is the usual faculty profile at IIFM?

The faculty profile at IIFM is usually multi-disciplinary in nature. We have faculty members from different academic streams ranging Management, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Information Technology, Environmental Management, Forestry, Economics and Sociology, to cater to the varying and cross-cutting nature of the course.

We also invite visiting faculty from IIMs and other leading business schools as and when some very specific inputs are needed from them in our courses.

On Placements

These days, there is huge focus on placements at MBA institutes. What kind of placement program you have to attract best companies?

The institute has a Placement Cell like any other reputed management school in the country. It is being managed by the students and coordinated by a faculty member. We have the recruiter database, and from the list we invite them to visit our campus to recruit our boys and girls. It generally takes place in the month of January, popularly known as Placement Week. All our students get placed within 3-4 days of the placement week with more than 2 offers. To fix the date of their visits to the campus is coordinated by the faculty in-charge placement. Placement brochures are sent to the companies, and many a time the faculty member in-charge placement makes visit to different companies backed with proper presentation about IIFM.
