Winning team had IIMC alumni Supratik Chaudhari. Runners Up team comprised of Kingshuk Biswas, Gautam Ghosh and Anirudh Chari. Second Runners Up was a Delhi team comprising of Dr. S. Bhattacharya and Kunal Malhotra.

In all, the fervour and spirit during the contest was commendable with audience participating to the hilt. As they say, "The show must go on," a long wait for next year's edition starts. Till then... "Adios!"

West Bengal Chief Minister Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee's Talk

IIMC Intaglio was privileged to have the WB Chief Minster grace the occasion with his presence. As expected, the auditorium was overfull as everyone wanted to hear the CM's talk. Amidst tight security and extensive media coverage, the CM addressed the young audience and shared some of his foresights and plans for the state. He emphasized the need for West Bengal to industrialize event further. "It is very important to move people from the rural areas and get them to be involved in the industrialization. Furthermore, we must focus on agri-based industries and Small and Medium Enterprises," he said.

In the context of what young MBA students can do, he said that young managers should have a vision for the country and must have courage and flexibility to take bold decisions. One must choose one's career carefully for it is very important to have the right person at the right place for overall societal progress.

The CM's brief address was followed by an intense Q&A session. Students did not fail to broach on the controversial Singur issue. The CM retorted that it was a matter of weighing the value-added by both alternatives. "We calculated and found that setting up the motor factory was adding much more value compared to agriculture. I believe we are making the right decision," he said.
