Q. How many months and how many hours daily did you devote for preparation to entrance procedures?
A. I started preparing around 8 months before CAT and devoted 1-2 hours daily, as it was not easy devoting much time along with the graduation studies, the month before the cat was the most critical though and the preparation was on peak at that point of time.

Q. Did you take up some coaching institute or you believed in self-study?
A. I joined a coaching institute but I have seen people getting good results by preparing through self study also. The test series of one or more institutes is a must according to me.

Q. Can you tell us which are your favorite books, books that you used for preparing for entrance, books for self-development and books for pure relaxation?
A. For preparation I referred majorly to the material provided by my coaching institute, for relaxation I read fictional novels, my favorite author is Dan Brown, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen R. Covey was a very nice book that I read which I would recommend as a reading.

Q. When did you start for preparation?
A. 8 months before CAT.

Q. Did you go for any coaching?
A. Yes, Bulls Eye chandigarh

Q. What are the others books and tests which you used for your MBA preparation?
A. IMS test series apart from test series of my institute

Q. What was your strongest and weakest area while preparing for MBA coaching?
A. Strongest was analytical reasoning and weakest was English (verbal section)

Q. Some tips which you used for mastering Quant, RC, etc.
A. Going through many reasoning puzzles and puzzles in general. Apart from that keeping as many mathematical results in mind like tables till 35, squares till 40 square roots till 10 cubes till 20 etc.

Q. How much time did you put for MBA preparation everyday? How did you manage this while working full time?
A. 1-2 hours and 3-4 hours in the last month. Its not tough to manage time when you get used to it.

Q. Which all Exams and B-schools you applied to?
A. CAT, XAT, SNAP, IIFT, NMIMS

A. IMI - International Management Institute, New Delhi and PGDM full time.

Q. What procedures your school has for admission to its MBA program?
A. CAT cut offs (95 percentile when I got through) then Group discussion and then Interview.

Q. What is the range of score for students who are admitted?
A. 95 percentile and above
