Aside of these, TISS has the Tata Memorial Gymkhana, which has a Gymnasium, Badminton Court, TT facilities, Carom, etc. Daily Yoga and Aerobics Sessions (morning and evening) are also held. The Dorabji Tata Memorial Library has a full-fledged cyber-center. The campus is wi-fi enabled and recreation rooms / dining halls have huge flat screen TVs. Cricket matches are aired using projectors, and every Saturday night, a movie screening happens. Aside of this, basket-ball and volley-ball courts are also present. The students are actively involved in teaching poor students from nearby Mankhurd slum cluster for free. Also there are multiple symposiums and literary activities each week.

Tata Memorial Gymkhana at TISS-Mumbai

TISS has active Quiz Club, Finance Club, HRM-LR Forum, Books Club, Consulting Club, Literary Committee and a TISS Students' Committee. Students are actively involved in various clubs and committees. TISS also has a Disaster Relief Committee (one such is currently helping in Bihar flood-relief efforts).

Q. Are there any social-service or welfare activities planned by the institute and undertaken by TISS, Mumbai students?

NGO block placements at the end of 4th Semester are mandatory for the students of all schools. Aside of this, the Consulting Club at the institute also participates and conducts various socio-centric projects. Currently, we are doing a project with Briha Mumbai Council, and in the process of developing training modules for BMC school-teachers.
