Q. What kind of financial assistance is provided to students from economically-weaker section?

The Institute provides Scholarship, Free Ship and GOI Scholarship for SC/ST Students and necessary financial support to the students as per recommendations of Students' Aid Committee. The Institute also arranges and supports bank loan facility to the financially weak students.

Q. What is the faculty strength at TISS, Mumbai (including visiting faculty)? What is the ratio of regular and visiting faculty?

The current faculty strength of the School of Management & Labour Studies is 13. In addition to this, we have approximately 22 visiting faculty who are holding very senior positions in reputed organizations. The number of visiting faculty varies from semester to semester depending upon the need and expertise. We have also support from distinguished alumni who are invited to take sessions on important thematic areas of Human Resource.
