Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai FINANCE and IT led the way Like other places, reflecting the overall trend in recruitments, IT sector led the way by picking as much as 22% of the outgoing class. The booming stock market trend was also reflected in higher pick-up by financial sector 21% (Finanacial Institution - 11%, Financial Services - 10%). If the share of Banking sector (18%) is included, the share of entire financial sector goes to a high of 39%. All time favourites, FMCGs accounted for 17% share in overall recruitment figures. The other sectors which vied for a place in the overall pie included Conglomerate (8%), Media (4%), Pharma (5%) and Consulting (5%).
