As research is given top priority at JBIMS with a view of improving teaching effectiveness and also making continuos contribution to knowledge, new ideas, thoughts, management practices and processes, this programme has produced several PhD recipients who have done intensive research in diverse areas of contemporary relevance and has several scholars who are engaged in ongoing research.

Admission Procedure

Admission into Bajaj is through a highly rigorous and competitive admission procedure. The candidates appear for a written Common Entrance Test (CET), which is followed by group discussions and interviews. This process begins in May each year and the top 120 of almost 35,000 (0.35%) applicants on an all-India basis are selected, implying an admission ratio of almost 1:300 per seat. The procedure is controlled centrally by the State Government and this ensures that only the most competent and deserving candidates secure admission. The Institute attracts the top 2 percentile of the students appearing for the CET examination. This is in turn results in a very diverse group of students representing all parts of the country and all walks of life coming together at JBIMS.
