Admissions
Admissions to the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) are made through two channels (for Domestic and Overseas candidates respectively).
Domestic Candidates
At least, a 3-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE as eligible for post Graduate Studies.
Candidates in the final year Bachelor's degree course (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates should, however, complete examinations and all other requirements before 30th June 2001, and must produce their final marksheets before 5th October 2001.
Twenty two-and-a-half percent (15 per cent for SC and 7.5 per cent for ST) of the seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates meeting the Institute's admission requirements.
Expenses
Expenses on tuition, room, boarding, teaching material, computer facilities, and other fees for a single student living on the campus will be Rs.1,10,000/- per year. Personal expenses on travel, clothes, laundry, etc. will be extra.
Financial Aid
The Institute does not turn down any financially needy candidate. Financial aid is provided to all deserving students in the first and second year of the PGP curriculum, in the form of tuition waivers for one or more terms. In addition, merit and merit cum means scholarships are available from external sponsors. Educational loans are also available from various banks, including Citibank, State Bank of Mysore and Canara Bank.
Overseas Candidates
The minimum admission requirements are:
1. A bachelor's degree
2. Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score (including AWA score).
3. 'Overseas' candidates' refers to Indians residents outside India and foreign nationals. In order to qualify as an Indian resident abroad, a candidate should have been/expect to be resident outside India for a period of 18 months between 1st January 1996 and 31st December 2000 for acquiring a graduate/post-graduate degree and/or working as an executive, and be outside India during the CAT examination. Foreign nationals need to have a valid passport/travel document from a country other than India.
Selection will be based on GMAT scores, scholastic merit, work experience and recommendations.

Fee
The Programme fee is US $ 8000 per year. This fee covers tuition, teaching material, computer use, library,and accommodation in the Institute hostel. Food, travel, and other personal expenses are not covered in this fee.
