Internationalisation IIMB, through student and faculty exchanges, Innovative programmes, research conferences and workshops, is making a concerted effort to internationalise its programmes and operations. Admission to IIMBs PGP programme has been opened to NRIs and foreign nationals since 1994. IIMB and the University of Buckingham,UK, have established a link with the support of the British Council and the Overseas Development Agency (ODA) to develop Action Learning Programmes for the growth of small and medium enterprises. The Wharton Business School had invited two of IIMB faculty, from the areas of Corporate Strategy and Economics & Social Sciences, to visit Wharton during the Spring semester commencing January 1996, under the Harry Reynolds International Visiting Professorship Programme. Also, IIMB and The Sloan School of Management, MIT (Cambridge, USA) are actively exploring avenues for collaboration. A student exchange programme with the Melbourne Business School is also in the offing.
